Being the first official 'Gypset Shoot" meant we wanted to have some fun with this one, take some risks and of course create a massive amount of workload for ourselves.. enter Silk Scarf Tent.
For years I had been dreaming of creating a romantic bohemian styled fort and this was the time to bring that vision to life.
After massive support and encouragement from Stacey and the other vendors to let my style shine I perused Christchurch's best second hand stores looking for the perfect selection of silk scarves - little did I know how many would actually be needed- and spent my nights tying them all together.
On the day we arrived to a cold southerly and buckets of rain but we were all there eager and ready to give it our best go, moving things in and out of the rain as needed and trying to keep our model Tayla as dry as possible.
Warm tones and an eclectic mix of props brought a fresh look to this gypsy shoot.
We chose WagonStays Luxury Escape for the venue to give us that 'carefree travelling feel' and the old carriage and horses worked beautifully as a backdrop for or boho bride.
The Rue De Siene Adelina Lune dress stole the show with its beautiful details and were a perfect match to the Zoe & Morgan Tara Earrings.
We also created a Gypset Bespoke Leather Jacket and adorned a hat with wild flora to add to our gypsy look.
Enjoy the magic that Jeremy from @billiejoandjeremy managed to capture on that soggy afternoon.
